Exeter Constituency General Election candidates

The candidates standing in Exeter for next month’s General Election have now been revealed.

The statement of persons nominated for election as a Member of Parliament for the Exeter Constituency can be found on our General Election webpage.

The election will take place on Thursday 12 December, with polling stations throughout Exeter opening from 7am until 10pm.

Those wanting to vote will need to be on the electoral register and have until midnight on 26 November to register.

Registering is simple – just go to the register to vote website and fill in the application form.

Any students living in Exeter will need to ensure that they are on the electoral register in Exeter if they want to vote here. Otherwise, they will need to arrange a postal or proxy vote in their home town or city.

Those who wish to apply for a postal vote can do so by going to the register to vote website The deadline for postal vote applications is 5pm on 26 November.
