Exeter Community Lottery is a win-win for players and good causes

Exeter Community Lottery is a win-win for players and good causes One lucky player won a £250 cash prize

One lucky player won a £250 cash prize in the Exeter Community Lottery at the weekend.

The prize was won by a player raising money for Age UK Exeter. Three other players won £25, and 19 won three free tickets.

Exeter Community Lottery is a fun way to help good causes without giving up precious time, with around 100 good causes across Exeter currently benefitting.

Tickets are just £1 in the weekly draw, and those playing can choose exactly which good cause they would like their money to go to.

More of people’s money goes to the chosen cause than with any other major lottery – players can see the exact breakdown, where every penny goes, on the Exeter Community Lottery website.

Unlike larger lotteries, the majority of ticket purchase comes back into the community and the odds of winning a prize are much better at 50:1.

It really is a win-win for players, who can be content in knowing that they are making a difference in Exeter. And the real winners are the community groups and good causes who benefit.
