Exeter Community Lottery continues to raise money for good causes
Published: 17 April 2024
Playing the Exeter Community Lottery not only gives people a chance of winning cash prizes but also raising money for a host of good causes across the city.
In fact it is the good causes who are the real winners, by raising precious funds simply by signing up and encouraging people to support them.
Exeter Community Lottery is a lottery for the people, by the people - around 100 good causes are currently benefitting from the community lottery in Exeter.
The top ten good causes benefitting in Exeter, based on their current number of supporters, are:
- Sylvania Community Store and Cafe
- South West MS Therapy Centre
- Exeter Strollers Walking Football Club
- Devon Family History Society
- Heavitree Bowling Club
- FREEMOOVEMENT
- Royal Albert Memorial Museum (RAMM) Development Trust
- South West Blood Bikes
- Parental Minds CIC
- Age UK Exeter
Tickets are just £1 in the weekly draw, and those playing can choose which good cause they would like their money to go to.
More of people’s money goes to the chosen cause than with any other major lottery – players can see the exact breakdown, where every penny goes, on the Exeter Community Lottery website.
With the new Super Draw, players can also buy extra tickets to ‘top-up’ for Super Draw week – or if they don’t want weekly tickets they you can buy tickets just for the Super Draw.
