Exeter Chiefs praised by Council Leader for Premiership Rugby Cup win

Council Leader Phil Bialyk has congratulated Exeter Chiefs on their latest cup triumph.

The Chiefs won the Premiership Rugby Cup with a 24-20 point extra time win over London Irish to collect the latest in a long list of honours.

Cllr Bialyk said he was delighted with the cup victory and the boost it gives everyone in the city.

He said: “It is great to see that the Chiefs are still collecting the silverware, and I wish them well in their forthcoming European matches.

“This win is very welcome for everyone in the city - we are all very proud of their achievements and the prestige and joy it brings to the city.
