Exeter attractions earn Tripadvisor Travellers' Choice Awards Tripadvisor Travellers' Choice Awards

Four visitor attractions in Exeter have received recognition after picking up favourable reviews on the world's largest travel platform Tripadvisor.

Exeter’s popular Red Coat Guided Tours, the Royal Albert Memorial Museum and Art Gallery (RAMM), Exeter Corn Exchange, and the Underground Passages have all won Travellers' Choice Awards. All four attractions are run by Exeter City Council.

Travellers’ Choice winners are determined based on the quality and quantity of traveller reviews and ratings posted on Tripadvisor over a 12-month period.

Cllr Bob Foale, Lead Councillor for Arts, Culture and Tourism, said he was delighted with the news.

"These awards recognise the dedicated staff and volunteers that make these attractions and venues the popular places they are. Without their welcoming smiles and the hard work of everyone involved, visitors wouldn’t leave with such a good impression of the service we provide," he added.

The Red Coat Guided Tours are a free service provided by the City Council, enabling visitors to enjoy Exeter’s rich history with guided tours of the city.

The Royal Albert Memorial Museum and Art Gallery is situated on Queen Street in Exeter and showcases collections and exhibitions from around the world.

Exeter Corn Exchange is a City Council-run theatre, business, and entertainment venue located on Market Street in the heart of the city.

Exeter’s Underground Passages offer visitors a glimpse beneath the pavements of a unique labyrinth of passages built to pipe drinking water into the city.
