People have the chance to have dinner with the Lord Mayor of Exeter and raise money for charity.
The exclusive butler dinner service takes place at Exeter College’s award-winning restaurant, @thirty four, in aid of the Lord Mayor’s chosen charity, FORCE Cancer Charity.
Join the Lord Mayor of Exeter, Cllr Kevin Mitchell for a unique evening of fine dining and tradition on Thursday 21 November.
Special Guest for the evening will be Matt Balman, Front of House lecturer and former Footman to Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, who will share fascinating insights into the world of Royal Service.
Learn the intricacies of Butler Service while indulging in a luxurious 5-course meal served and prepared by the College’s students.
On the menu for this special occasion is:
- On Arrival: Canapes & Cocktail/Mocktail Reception
- Starter: Grilled Rainbow Trout, butter dill sauce, celeriac, confit leeks
- Main: Beef Wellington, red wine jus, pomme puree, roasted carrot
- Dessert: Plum Tarte Tatin, crème anglaise
- Afters: Coffee & Petit Fours
Tickets cost just £45 per person and include a five-course dinner. Dress to the 9s or smart casual (lounge suit/day dress) if preferred. Doors open at 6.45pm and all dietary requirements will be catered for on request by emailing mayoralty@exeter.gov.uk
