Going local Going Local 2019

Suppliers from across Exeter and the South West were welcomed to the Corn Exchange last week to attend the annual meet the buyer event organised by the Devon and Cornwall Procurement Partnership (DCPP) and hosted this year by Exeter City Council.

Eighty suppliers from across all sectors came along to speak directly to buyers to find out how they can access opportunities to supply to the public sector.

Also in attendance were a number of framework providers who the buying organisations engage to procure various good services and works.

They were able to explain how suppliers could go through them to supply to the public sector and advise on the various ways that frameworks operate.

There was the opportunity to attend seminars from local experts.

In addition, support was on hand to assist suppliers through the process of registering on the eTendering portal used by most of the DCPP members - www.supplyingthesouthwest.org.uk This is the main route these organisations use to advertise their contract opportunities.

If you were unable to attend but would like to receive follow up information and notice about future events, email eccprocurement@exeter.gov.uk and we will add you to the contact list.
