Citizen set to pop through Exeter letterboxes

Published: 10 March 2022

Exeter Citizen Spring 2022 The Spring 2022 edition of the Exeter Citizen

Packed full with news and information, Exeter City Council’s newspaper, The Exeter Citizen, returns this month.

The Spring 2022 edition of the Citizen will be delivered to homes and businesses throughout the city during the week commencing Monday 14 March.

The Citizen last appeared in Winter 2019 and wasn’t published throughout the pandemic.

This month’s publication carries a behind-the scenes look at the new St Sidwell’s Point Leisure Centre, due to open in April, plus features on local affordable housing projects, what to do in and around the city and so much more.

There’s a handy Your Councillors page with all the information on how to contact City Councillors in every ward, recycling information and news about what’s on at the Royal Albert Memorial Museum and Art Gallery, and Exeter Corn Exchange.

Cllr Duncan Wood, Lead Councillor with responsibility for Communications said: “For many people the Citizen is the main way they find out about what’s going on it the city and the work the Council carries out.

“We know from experience that there is still a number of residents that don’t access digital media and we still need to inform them about what’s happening in Exeter. It can also be a more relaxed way to catch up even if you are online.”

Look out for the Citizen as it pops through letter boxes throughout the city. Once finished with the Citizen can be placed in green wheelie bins and recycled along with other household items.
