Celebrations as Exeter Community Lottery player wins £2,000 cash prize

Published: 11 October 2024

Lottery Winner £2000 winner

A lucky player is celebrating after winning an amazing £2,000 cash prize in the Exeter Community Lottery.

But as ever the real winners are the good causes and community organisations in Exeter who are benefitting directly from ticket sales.

The player became the Exeter lottery’s first £2,000 winner in last weekend’s draw while raising funds for ReadEasy North East and West Devon.

There was also a £250 winner, raising money for Pinhoe Pantomime, and two £25 winners, raising money for Age UK Exeter and Park Life Heavitree.

The Exeter Community Lottery offers an exciting way to support good causes throughout the city.

With more than 100 local organisations benefitting, players know that more of their ticket money goes directly to their chosen cause.

Lottery tickets are just £1 a week with more going directly to good causes than with any other major lottery. Players can see exactly where every penny goes on the website.

Community groups and good causes are being invited to sign up today.

All they need to do is tell as many people as they can to support them through their lottery page. With just 50 regular players groups could raise more than £1,000 annually.
