Remembrance Sunday

The public are reminded that access to the Remembrance Sunday Service at Northernhay Gardens will be maintained despite works currently taking place to create the Winter Wonderland attraction.

The Lord Mayor of Exeter Cllr Trish Oliver will be accompanied by civic dignitaries and representatives of the military for the service at the War Memorial on Sunday 14 November.

Residents wanting to attend the service should use the Queen Street entrance.

A civic reception will be held at the Guildhall for invited guests ahead of a procession to the War Memorial at Northernhay Gardens for the service from 10.45am.

Wreaths will be laid at the memorial and a two minute silence will be observed at 11am.

Members of the public are welcome to attend and social distancing will be encouraged.
